Any ideas ?

In a particular daycare school I Cimex 15 school rooms twice a year. The CGD carpets are over 5 years old. In most of the rooms I have no problem. However in some of the rooms over the past 3 years I’ve noticed “bubbles” (small patches of carpeting lifting off the concrete) occurring in the carpet within 30 minutes of cleaning. Most of the time the raised areas flatten out after the carpet completely dries. But more and more I’ve noticed some areas stay raised up. Am I causing this or does the glue, in time, get weaker even with low moisture cleaning? I clean by going forward with the valve wide open then pull the Cimex back over the same path occasionally tapping the valve. That’s all. I really don’t think I’m over wetting. Have you had this problem? If so what did you do about it?

Thanks,

Bill

That's usually an installation problem--It just needs to be reglued.

Bill,

Go to Mikey's Board (link in the upper left corner of this page, directly below PRODUCTS).

Seek out Steve Andrews.  He has a good little slide show he will post on how to repair these permanently.

Make you own luck,
