Wand size..Mytee Lite

June 23 2008 at 6:27 PM
Matt

I have the Mytee Lite, which I love so far. However, When i have tried to use my wand with it, the suction is BAD. I have better luck using the detal/uph tool instead(takes alot longer though)

Anyone have any recommendations?

BTW, I bought a bunch of equipment from Rick a couple months ago...so busy with it, haven't had a chance to say "thanks", the customer services was excellent...answered all my questions and provided me with some cool tools!

If I am correct your machine is a single 2 stage vac with 85 inches of lift. If this is your machine it usually come with that machine a UPH tool does or and auto detailing tool.

The reason for this is that is what the machine is designed for auto detailing and UPH cleaning. I would expect you would have poor results trying to use a wand with this machine.

By chance I am incorrect let me know what you have for vac set up

You are correct, it only has 85", didn't know if there was a tool a little bigger and longer than an uph that might work or not. It really doesnt have enough power for a regular wand.

Are you trying to do carpet with it or UPH?
You maybe able to get a larger slot UPH tool or a long handled stair tool may also work. just be sure to get a vac shoe slot that is 10 inches or below and you should be fine.

see if you can try something out before you buy it

David,

I do alot of stairs & usually the landings or entrances need extraction also. I will look for a tool that has under 10" shoe, thanks for the input.
