Hey guys, just wondering, what do you guys do when electrical storms are blowing through (that time of year), had a job the other day when a storm came blowing through here and was kind of hesitant to plug in the cimex and get to work. Just wordering o your thoughts, worry, don't worry or somewhere in between. what would you do?

thanks

IT depends on how close the storm is and how close the lightning is. Usually I do not worry and work

I have no sense when it comes to electrical or storms. If the power is on, I'm working.

If you are concerned you can a get a monster surge protector for $30 to carry around with you, pretty small too. Model #AVFL200. That would protect you. Not a bad idea.

I live in the Tampa bay area (considered one of the HIGHEST lightning strike locations in the world). This place is insane in the summer time. And I have always cleaned rain or shine. Storms don't bother me. A large motor is not as likely to be affected by spikes as more delicate circuitry (such as computers, televisions, etc). Don't be skeered
