CMS again (Sorry)

I havents been able to get to the PC. I have Office 2000 Professional. The only problem I have is printing. It prints the background of the flyer but not the pictures. The Whole clean pic comes out and the Call today at the bottom comes out along with the text. Not sure how to save it as PDF but I would imagine if I print right off the CD without changes it should print normaly but it doesn't. Any thoughts?

You will always have printing problems until you open the program in the correct windows. If you have Microsoft works you probably have Powerpoint. Fill in your registration number and you will get it Free for a month. Microsoft Works will open the whole program except for the 16 page report.

I don't know what to tell you Rich. They're just MS Office documents. Nothing out of the ordinary. These are standard Word, Excel and Powerpoint files. They can be opened on any machine running MS Office with Powerpoint (Windows or Mac). MS Works won't work. You have to have a working copy of MS Office on your computer. Load the files from the CD onto your "Desktop" or into "My Documents" and then open the files with MS Office. If your computer can run MS Office, these are standard Office document files and they'll run perfectly. E-mail me if you have a problem.

Thanks guys.

Rick, I know it's my computer. Probably time for a new one. Other then this issue I love the CMS and it does work. It's worth more then what I paid for it.

I'll figure this out one way or another. Wors comes to worse I'll bring it to a printer.

Thanks all.

Rich

I wish you success Rich. Computers are a constant annoyance for me too. We just had to upgrade our office system (AGAIN). We've now made the switch to running ALL Mac hardware at the office. We'll see how that does. So far so good. If I can assist you in any way let me know.

Go to Kinkos and work on one of their PC's. Then when you finished it you will get a high quality copy when you print.

Great Idea

Thanks for that excellent idea Richard! I don't know why I didn't think of that (I use Kinkos all the time). That will work perfectly!

Head over to Kinkos and use their public computers.

Bring your CMS disc with you.

Bring your logo/image files with you too.

Also bring a blank CD or thumb-drive so you can save all your material after you're finished.

And of course, you can plan to have Kinkos do the printing of the job for you too. They do EXCELLENT work.
