Before and After Pics of a demo

Did a demo on a condo high rise with 6 year old carpet. The resident manger felt that there was no hope for the carpet, as they already have a company cleaning it quarterly, with little to no improvement.

Just what I wanted to hear.

Notice how bright and vibrant the colors are, especially in the bamboo graphics.

Needless to say, she was blown away. She is also very upset with her present carpet cleaner, and is exploring how she can get out of here contract with them.

Everywhere I go, people NEED this service. HWE with portables in these high traffic areas is not getting it done. This is far from an isolated case.

Great Job!

Help her to get out of it T.O. Tell her to offer those guys a pay off. (half of whats left on the contract) Then you assure her that you will give her a 10 or 20 percent discount for one year if she sign a two year contract with you.

That way she will get some of her money back feeling that all is not lost, and you will be in business for two years, the second year recieving full compensation.

I must still be desperate. LOL

Thanks

Thanks for the complements. Of course all I did was walk while the cimex, fiberplus pads and DS did all the dirty work!

Alex,

That is an interesting option, and one I may suggest if they are trapped in their contract. It might only be till the end of this year, so that might make it even easier to break down that bill.

It would be lame if they couldn't get out of the contract, even though it is obvious that the other end is not holding up their end of the bargain.

Tell them the truth

Can she not tell the other cleaners the truth ??

They are not getting the carpet clean, even though they may be going through the motions.

Plain & simple.

The day before they are due to clean, you go in and clean this same small area again.

She tells them NOT to go over your area.

If their clean does not come up to scratch, they're out the door for poor workmanship.

Performance based standards is what it is all about.

Some people don't like confrontation.

Oh, sorry, I forgot for a moment about your silly flamin' need to jump on the bus and SUE, every time someone upsets the bucket. lol

Anyhow, the above is what I would do down under.

Best of luck.

There MAY be a non-performance clause in the contract.  She may have to take pictures and document to protect her and her companies interests if she decides to cancel the contract though.

The payoff is an interesting option, but I'd start at 25% and bargain from there.

She can also point out to them that she WILL NOT renew their contract no matter what and that they can leave the situation with a customer that simply choose a better option for their situation or a BITTER customer that will tell many people about the poor quality of service.

Good suggestions everyone!

At this point, she is going to do everything in her power to get me in. She feels like she's been taken advantage of all this time and led to believe that here carpet was beyond hope.

The way the carpet looks in the before picture is pretty much what it looks like after they clean it. Pretty sad. Even without Cimex/encap there is no excuse for that.
