Wow rick I have only used my cimex 5 times and the bearing are going out or wearing. Thats not good. I could see after a year but not after 5 times. How long should they last? I know you said not to worry but It does worry me because I love my machine but this makes me nervous.

Like I said in my earlier post... the clicking is normal. I've heard clicking from every single Cimex machine I've ever owned, and I've NEVER replaced a set of bearings. And our machines have logged quite a few acres of carpet too. The clicking will normally become progressively more pronounced, the more miles you put on the machine. Like I said below, don't worry about it! It shouldn't affect the performance of the machine in any way - at least that is what we've always seen. We have racked up tons of carpet cleaning with the machines that we've used in our cleaning business. And we've sold hundreds of them too. The bearings last a long time. So don't be bothered by a little "clicking" - it's normal.

We need to replace the bearings in our Cimex's every 10 to 12 months. We use our machines 6 days a week so I think that is normal, other than that very little maintenance required

my pal Carl Newton is using it now. i haven't been called to say there's a problem with it!!!

I never heard a clicking since i had my Cimex one year now. Until this post. The very next day i went to do a job and heard light clicking. Up until now it was only squeaking.

Thanks
