| I recieved my 28" conquest. I love it. Its gonna really serve its purpose for me. don't know how it willl work with the bag assymbly. But i like it over the other wide area vacs cause it less bulky yet covers a sufficient amount of area in a single pass. Then too, the results is tops cause of the two motors. I'm excited. What a time saver it will be.
Hoover discontinued this model. So most distributors does not stock these anymore and now can't order them. So if you want one i suggest purchasing one now while the chosen-few of distrutors has a few left in stock.
I imagine Hoover will upgrade this one and put it out there in a year or so. As i understand they are focusing on the residential environment for the next year or so. It'll probably be a while for the c1820.
I'm in love with mine already, haven't even used it yet.
Thanks

Alex, let us know if your new vac leaves a strip in the middle. If it doesn't I would like to have one. |

Honest Joe,
I recieved my anti-allergen bag assymbly today and put my hoover through a test run on my carpet (loop stretched) Man, i get the same feeling as i do when i jump on a Harley-D. I feel the power behind it.
Keeping in mind that the conquest is double edge cleaning so the sTrip can barely be seen when butted together. So on CGD, I shouldn't see anything at all. It left a slight strip in middle but only on a backward pass.
Its great! I now want to get ahold of some disposable paper bags, as i now have the cloth ones (DIRTY DUMPING). I will put one dust-cup on my 14" conquest and keep the other one as a spare.
The one thing i like about this c1820 is that the handle has three positions. Upright, it locks at waist legnth, and also can lay all the way down to get under desk ect. Also compared to alot of the other wide area vacs c1820 does not take up much space at all. Very compact and easy to handle. 28 Inches of High Performance!
Thanks

Thanks Alex. That's what I wanted to hear. I've got 2 14 inch Conquests and wouldn't want any other type of vac. Tough and powerful.
