Orbot comment and question

We have had the Cimex I think now for about 2 1/2 years and love it. But now I see the pros' and cons' between the two machines. We love this new orbot also. We have not used extensively yet but it is easier to port around than the cimex. It feels good in the hands. For big jobs I have to wear gloves (a preference due to the way I handle the Cimex) with the Cimex. With the Orbot I don't (so far). This may not be true to everyone else who has used both but the Cimex seems a better scrubber and the Orbot is a better bonnet and moisture pickup machine with the cotton bonnets. The Cimex has a better chemical release since it is right in the middle of the pad which I like since juice can be released any direction. The Orbot has to be moving forward for the chemical to be worked in. But this is no big deal to us. Also, we have both the Tu/way and the cotton bonnets. We have two schools to clean coming up so I look forward to using them both.

Overall, just the way the Orbot feels I think I am going to like using it better, and it also is cool to bonnet/cotton bonnet with. But I will never part with the Cimex and would even buy a new one in the future. These are both great machines to have if a business can make room for two different machines. Besides, if one breaks down, the other can be used. AND on some filthed out jobs both can be used: the Cimex up front scrubbing and the Orbot following up with a bonnet. But if someone likes the Orbot, in my little experience, it seems it could stand alone for doing commercial and resi if one so chooses. I like both.

Now for the question: how do we turn this machine on and off. When I plug it up, it is already running. I can't get it to go off very easily. I played with it for awhile and noticed that there is some kind of left right combo button pushing to get it to go off and on. I have not figured it out yet. Would appreciate any help before tomorrow if possible. If not we will call tomorrow morning. Thank you

I also have the Cimex and Orbot. I agree with your post I use them both but have really been doing more OP due to residential I use cotton pads/microfibre pads/glad pads.
On the Orbot standing behind the handles the red button on the left control arm is on/off for the motor its a momentary switch so qucik on and off generally will do it, however sometimes they can be temperamental. I think the red switch on the right control arm is for the spray system.
I also have the Hos ( model before the Orbot) all great machines.

Jeff has you covered. It's the switch/button on the left handle. If it is not turning off, you have a bad switch. Let me know if that's the case. 1-800-330-1888.

I think anyone would be hard pressed to find a better one-two punch than the Cimex and Orbot. Talk about top of the line cleaning tools.

Thanks for your comments on both machines. They seem to complement each other perfectly.
