Cimex Use

I have a 19" Cimex R48. I use it primarily to scrub carpets. Can I also use this machine to scrub and/or strip VCT floors?? Has anyone in this forum used the Cimex for all 3 purposes?? If you have, did you use pads or brushes for scrubbing and stripping?? What were the results? Would you recommend the Cimex R48 for scrubbing and/or stripping jobs??

If you use the search feature you will find lots of responces to this very question.
I use it to
strip
buff
encap carpets Residential
encap carpets Commercial
clean concrete floors
clean kitchen floors
tile and grout

I use 3m high Pro pads, cut to size to strip
mixture of the brushes, Rick sells for carpets and tile and grout work
concrete floors, depends on type of finish what pads to use. If it is sealed / coated, then the brushes work great as well, or the 3m or green what have you.

The pads Rick sells are great for carpets of most types, you need the brushes as well for residential.

You can also use it to re-coat VCT, just put on the Red or Blue pads, according to how bad the finish is, then do the re-coating like you normally do.

The FiberPlus Max pads are well suited for scrubbing/cleaning just about any type of smooth hard floor surface.

We also have Lightning strip pads. These pads are exceptionally aggressive and they make light work of floor stripping.

In addition to the pads mentioned above that will cover most floor care needs, we also can fit your Cimex with a wide assortment of brushes that can tackle any floor surface imaginable, including tile and grout and textured flooring. The range of attachments for the Cimex is impressive and covers everything you're ever likely to run into (all the way up to scraping off paint and grinding marble).
