Looks great. We have been doing a lot of cubicle cleaing with Ricks method also...My pitch is that there is a lot of junk that floats around and gets kicked back up and you breath it in, Yuck.

If you dont mind me asking what are you charging? Or at least in relation the the commercial carpet cleaning? I seem to avg about .10/sf

I get as much as I can...LOL. Here in ATL some charge as little as 8.00 per cubicle. (I did some investigating)I Won't do it for that little money. If there not really dirty I'll try to get 15.00 per cubicle for a standard size. If there really dirty 20 to 25. If they don't want to pay my price I'll move on.

Still easier and a one step method is to HWE panels, vs the scrub and run method.
Who is going back to vacuum after the panels have dried?

So you would run your TM for 15.00/cube? Or your portables?
Not me...

If I was getting 30.00/cube maybe.

P.S.
You don't need to vacuum after.

Yep! That is for 10.00 a panel one side only, both sides 20.00, how many panels does it take to make a workstation. I will clean more per hour and clean them better.

In this part of the country workstations are different than cubicles. Workstations are open and usually seat two people side by side. Cubicles are individual. At your pricing I would have had to quote $50.00/cubicle. 5 sides and the end cubicles would be 6 sides. Am I following your pricing correctly or am I misunderstanding something?
If your competition is quoting in the $8.00 to
$10.00 /cubicle range (NOT PANEL) how many jobs would you think you would get? AT 98 cubicles how many can you do an HR? Oh and on the 11th floor in a shared building. So you can't run hoses from the parking lot even if you had a #5 or #6 blower. If you were going to HWE you would have to use a porty or two or three.

What were you thinking Don??? LOL Flat cubicle panels are a flat surface, so there isn't much room for soil to hide in the fiber. HWE is overkill on them, not to mention SLOW and tedious work.

Iluvcarpet2 asked:

"rick what is you way of cleaning with encap"

Here is my trick for cleaning office partitions.
(And no, they won't need vacuuming)

Carpeted and fabric covered wall partitions can be cleaned using the bonnet method with Releasit.

1. Get a window washing strip washer
2. Get an extension pole if you'll be doing tall walls
3. Mix up a bucket of Releasit

Dunk & wring out the strip washer in the bucket of Releasit. Mop the walls with the strip washer. Dunk & wring the strip washer frequently. Replace the water as it gets soiled. You are essentially performing a manual bonnet cleaning method on the flat fabric.

Here's what an UNGER brand strip washer looks like. They're available from any good janitor supply house...

I have also used this method to successfully clean tall sliding fabric walls that separate banquet rooms. This process worked very well for me and it was easy to do.

As far as pricing goes, you can figure that according to your own business needs. A 5' x 5' partition can be cleaned (both sides) in about 10 minutes, or less.

Ahh Alex, why do you have to be so practical?

How am I ever gonna sell Releasit with you making these suggestions?

I think it's better to get the solution dirty and replace it more often.

And in case you didn't know (I'm kidding)
