I have always done HWE.My question is when you bonnet, how many pads is needed. Do you use them dry or wet. How do you clean the pads on site? I have a 16 in scrubber.

Steve,
Well there are a couple of ways to do it.
If I'm using my rotary I will spray the carpet and the pad. Scrub
and flip the pad when it's dirty. When both side are dirty I throw them in a mop bucket and ring them out. Depending on the size of the building I may have two or three or a dozen.
You don't want to use them dry.. Spray the pads before you scrub.

when you bonnet extract you can use the bonnet till it looks soiled,(use your Discretion) you don't want to wait till it is black. the dirtier the carpet the more bonnets you are gonna need! If you want to wash the bonnets on site I can get you a bonnet washer! Those things are SWEET, it is like a 5 gallon portable washing machine. Just call the office and ask for Drew or dial my extension 201. Don't have them on the website but I can get em!

If you are serious about bonnet cleaning get enough bonnets that you do not need to clean them on site, than you can take them back to the shop and wash them properly
