so if i have 5 gallons of RTU EncapClean in my Cimex's sol tank, i'd put in 40 oz of Odorcide?

that cant be right, what am i missing

thanx --- Derek.

Those numbers are correct - 40 ounces would make 5 gallons.

We're talking MASSIVE odor counteractant properties here.

Apply it where and as needed only.

Test & experience

Testing and experience will generally dictate how much you need.

Getting to know the level of concern for the customer helps.

Similar to knowing that you are not going to need twice as much juice in the tank for a job that is nearly twice the size of the last job.

If you overdo it, you are just wasting money.

Ooroo,

Shorty.

I've seen the light, and changed my wicked ways.

I have used Odercide for several years. I believe the 8 oz per gallon is when you have an extreme urine or other odor problems as a stand alone, not in rtu solution. This dilution ratio is used to saturate the carpet, pad and sub floor. For normal cleaning and deodorization I think an ounce per gallon mixed in cleaning solution is enough. Look at this from a pure monatary view. 40 oz is about $25. Infact I will go as far to say that unless there is a distinct ordor problem, the DS in itself would be enough because of the Tea Tree Oil in it. Then if you want mix an ounce of the Odercide in a qt sprayer and spritz the room.
