TM broke two belts today

My Butler broke two belts today that were less than a month old. Not a big problem but I had to get a rental cleaned today. So I took the vacuum, Cimex, and a carpet broom and got the job done. Carpet looked awesome and it got me out of a bind having that Cimex. Just thought I would share.

I'm sorry to hear you're having problems with your Butler. They make superb stuff. That's a bummer that you're having belt problems.

But I'm sure glad that Big Yella came to the rescue for you!

I'll have to say that I have had a few truckmount breakdowns but never a Cimex breakdown and I have owned quite a few of both.

That is why I keep spare belts with me for my Butler.. They take 10 minutes to change.

Hey how do you change the belts in the butler. I have extra ones just in case one breaks. Also I have't used my van hwe in the 2 months. I am saving a ton in gas. The only down fall is the 19 cimex is so hard to take up stairs.

It wasn't the belts, it was the pulleys and the tensioner assembly. The tensioner was throwing the belts off about once a month for the last two months. We got told the first time that it happened that the belts were defective. This time we told them what was wrong then we just needed to wait for the parts. Then yesterday they only sent two of the three parts, so we had to wait til today to get the other part. We finally got it back cleaning today.
