Monarch

Alex

I had a chance to use my new pad today. Its great cause I didn't need to use a glide with it. It moves as if you have a glide on it. I used it dry. 17" is what have, it didn't get the edges as good as could get them with a bonnet or cotton. I'll try a 19" and see how that does.

The carpet today wasn't as dirty (easy money) so i really can't say if it extracts soil like the cotton bonnet. But i like it cause I need no glide ( I lost my glide). So i was able to carry my Vento up the stairs rather than hauling big yella up each step.

Thanks

Thanks for the info, but maybe you can elaborate a bit. What is a Monarch pad? Can you post a picture? Does Rick G. sell them?

Thanks.

Monarch bonnets are the cool new MicroFiber bonnets that we just got in.
Thanks for the nice review on them Alex.

Now that's funny since I just got two of them last week. I guess I just thought they were being called microfiber pads! Unfortunately they don't run on any of my machines (challenger or CCS commercial breeze). I'll save them because someday I'll get an orbot and put them to use.

Grant, I'm not sure why your having problems with the microfiber pads on your Challenger, I've been using them all week on mine with no issues. How old is the velcro on your pad driver? or is it cloged up with fuzz? you may not be getting a good grip on the pad if the velcro is cloged up. I had this problem before I started cleaning the velcro out with a dog grooming brush every couple months. Really helps me keep my grip.

Brad,

That's a nice idea about using a dog grooming brush.

Thanks for that suggestion!
