Job cost

How should I price out a job that is about 60,000 square feet. The customer has spots all over this industrial carpeting. I plan to do this job job dry with encapsulating and powder. I do not plan on cleaning all of the rooms and halls, just the areas that have the spots.

I haven't a clue on how to price the Job?

How long do you think it will take you? I have been finding out over the years that I'm able to figure out how long it will take buy lookin at the job, and figuring what it will cost, and what i want to make.

My case is $100/hr to start. I find that doing it this way, i usually get done faster, and the customer has always been happy with the price. I usually end up making more than $100/hr this way.

Thank you for your advise. This job may take about 8 hrs to remove the spots.
I was thinking about using two people per machine and charging $100.00 per hour plus $200.00 for supplies. From your email we are in agreement.

Thanks again;

Bob

Why are you doing only the spots and not the entire carpet. if there are that many spots you will end up with clean spots all over the place. Sounds to me that it is time for a overall cleaning, or better yet a office of that size should be on a maintenance program. You have a opportunity right now to set this site up as a long time account and lock out the competition----"Go For It"
