orbot questions

I want to use my orbot to agitate prespray before hwe. What would be the best pad/bonnet to use? I am not sure if there are any brushes available for the orbot but if there are would this be a better option for agitating prespray over a pad or bonnet? Also if using the orbot to post pad would a tuway be the best or maybe a microfiber?

One last question I am new to encapsulation cleaning and have noticed that when the higher pile residential carpets dry they tend to be a bit stiff. Does this mean I am using a little to much solution or is this normal? After I rake the pile and vacuum throughly they soften up nicely. Would a good commercial vacuum eliminate the need to use a carpet rake prior to post vaccuming or should I go one step further and invest in pile lifter? No doubt a pile lifter would be nice to have for the pre-vac but very expensive so I'm curious if most use a rake or pile lifter post cleaning or just vacuum. I know that encap cleaning residential is not usually the best choice but no reason it can't be used under certain conditions. Thanks in advance for any input.

You could use a Fiberplus pad or...to pick up more soil, throw down any number of OP pads.

If you are cleaning a Berber, Olefin, or commercial nylon it is safe to use a Fiber Plus pads. If you are working with a more delicate fiber then it would be best to use the Tuway bonnets or a Monarch microfiber pad. They both work great for post bonnet cleaning, microfiber would be less aggressive! The cotton bonnets are going to have the highest absorption. I believe that HOS is working on a brush Driver but it is not available quite yet.

A pile lifter is a great tool to have! The Kleenrite XVac is a great machine, they have redesigned the pile lifter to make a machine that vacuums while it lifts pile, most old designs just spit the dirt out the other side of the brush!
