Look what Hurricane IKE did to our shop.

It filled it up with rugs. No damage thank goodness and out of the 3-4 million people without electricity somehow our shop never lost power. Even though the businesses on both sides of us did. All of our homes lost power though and it took nearly two weeks for them to get it back on at our houses.

I looked at the pictures first before I read your paragraph. I'm looking and looking, and thinking it looks pretty good - where's the damage? Then I read your paragraph.

Glad to see that it brought you business. At least something good can come from a bad storm. How was your drying business?

Rick, that's funny.

Part of the reason the rug plant is so full is there has been no time to clean rugs with all the water damage we have been doing. Most of that is behind us now though and so the rug cleaning is kicked in to high gear.
