Looking to build up our commercial carpet cleaning, have talked to Ricks staff (very helpful) about a cimex, We want to start cleaning some large resort properties local here and have a possible in, however we know they base their desisions on price. But we would like to know the best way to approach this.

Thanks Ahead of time, Rob

Ps, We are primarily Residential HWE

I've always had my best luck showing rather than talking. FREE demo. Plus they will see no open doors,no loss of heat or air condtioning, library quiet, non disruptive,no hoses, quick dry, all should impress them.

Hey Rob,

Del from the Philly SFS class (the Cowboy) here.

They always say price but in reality it is more about relationship whether they realize it or not or do realize it and won't admit it for fear of being taken advantage of price wise.

You run a class act.  Get Rick's CMS package.  Between that and the Commercial stuff in the SFS manual you can make a great presentation, inspection and pricing.  Almost (not always, but almost always) they will go with someone that is higher priced if they are more professional and that you are my friend.  You can use that Demon in there too.

Make you own luck,

Excellent advice above. If I can help you in any way, please don't hesitate to call on me. I've been involved with commercial carpet care for over 25 years now. So feel free to pick my brain --- for whatever that's worth

Good topic here. I'm in the same situation right now. I've been primary residential. I am considering starting another company with a friend of mine, that is commercial only. We already got a couple BIG prospects in the works.
So Rick, I hope it's ok if I take you up on your offer to pick your brain? I must pick your brain! Also we will be needing some high production machines, so I'll have a few questions about that as well.
