I need 2 black rubber Cimex handles...

anyone else had to replace theirs? mine are tearing apart at the ends, a good sign in that it means i used it alot

is there a trick to getting the new ones on?

i am assuming Rick sells them? or is there a replacement for them at Home Depot / Lowes?

Take one of them off and go to any bicyle shop with it. Less than $5 to replace, unless you get the ones with multi colored streamers.

If you want authentic Cimex grips I can get you some, but you' can also find a great selection of cool grips at your local bike shop.


P.S. Pick up a nice road bike while you're at it and start riding too.

I tried the bike replacements but those didn't last.I wound up ordering some replacement grips from Challenger.

Get some bike replacements from walmart - the ones for BMX bikes - They're softer and a tad longer than the cimex ones, so theyre a lot more comfortable...the stock ones were painful after an hour, even with padded gloves on, plus the bike ones are grippier. When they do wear out, theyre cheap enough to replace!
