For those who have used both, what did you not like about the BIG one?

It's a great machine.

But it's big, heavy and expensive.

If you have an open area, it's a COOL machine.

But in most cases you'd be better served from an efficiency perspective to go with a couple of 19" machines. It's money better spent. Gain 5" with a 24" Cimex or gain 19" by adding another 19" Cimex. Most guys see that building a business with multiple 19" Cimex machines is most practical.

the 24" machine is for wide open areas like corridors 5+ ft wide and areas like airports, convention centers etc.

a 24" Cimex will load and unload with a ramp just like any other wheeled machine.

no doubt 2 19" machines will cover more space per job, and i'd go with that if i had multiple locations to clean.

To best compare the size of the 19 to the 24, it is better to talk about the difference in the pad drivers. If I can still remember my geometry, having 3 - 7 inch drivers puts about 115.5 cubic inches of pad on the floor. With 3 - 10 inch drivers, you have about 235 cubic inches on the floor. That is a huge difference.

I hope we talking about area instead of volume with those pad drivers.

7 inch pad
3.5 x 3.5 = 12.25 x 3.14 = 38.5 x 3 pads = 115.4

10 inch pad
5 x 5 = 25 x 3.14 = 78.5 x 3 pads = 235.5

Like I said, its been a long time since geometry class (almost 40 years) but I think this is correct.

Yes you are calculating the area correctly.. area= sqft or sqin.. no cubic
