pad cleaning

I have been following this forum for sometime now and have gained much info.on low moisture cleaning.I have all the right equipment, but one piece I am having trouble with is the challenger only started to use it 6 months ago with pad and gliders.Used it with punch and pads/glider on berber a couple times it worked good.I decided to try and use the (thin one) pads for op cleaning, this was on used carpet in empty rental suites,Now I want to use the (thin one)on residential, tried a piece of new cut pile carpet as a test in my garage and it tip bloomed, why?I thought these were safer than the cotten pads with gliders,I used a wet pad, enough releasit to cause it to foam and keep the machine moving... how do you stop tip bloom with these pads on cut pile carpet(thin ones the kind Rick sells).I know there are a lot of variables, need advice on this way of cleaning.

Thanks

Shoot me an email and I'll try to send you a photo of my way of using the challenger. I use the same method for most types of carpets with outstanding results.
