Finally got a chance to use my 21 inch microfiber's that i got from Rick. Very impressed with them! Did a condo on the 12th floor today, took with me a few glads(just incase i was not happy w/ the micros). Boy was i wrong, didn't even used the glads at all. Actually i just used the same Micro for the entire job.
It was a small 1 bedroom approx 600 sq ft of carpet.
What i liked about these pads is also the fact they don't throw the staple fibers all over the top layer of the carpet like the glads do, and the fact i can just rinse them out in the bathtub, dump it into my hot water bucket, wringle them out and re-use 'em.
Also used Release It's HydroX new product. It does have a high diluted ratio which i was not used to it before, but it did an excellent job. Didn't notice any funky smells from this product after it was sprayed, i did add a few drops of tea tree oil to the spray and to my vac, but didn't notice any major difference, my first time using it as well. It could've been that the tea tree oil neutralized the HydroX smell as well, not sure.
Lastly, used Encap Spot as my spotter, worked pretty good too, was used to Cyclone's gum smell but this product worked great and gave results.
This guy lived in this condo for 12 years and never had the carpets cleaned. The major stain was there for a year he said, i did what i could, but it does look better.
Was able to book a $200 "up sell" for all his upholsteries that i'll be doing next week.
