| used the Air Compressor idea that Brad gave me...worked like a charm.
thanx Brad!
the handles i bought are the softer rubber. they wont last long and leave my hands and shirt with black bits all over them - the friction causes them to fall apart slowly.
BUT, at the end of a big job, my hands aren't tired and aching any more. i may just invest $5 a month and keep a new pair of these handles at all times. |

Derek,
glad to hear it worked out. I prefer the softer rubber too. However I've always been the type to bye 1 good one, rather than 10 mediocre ones. One pair of Oakley grips will last years. Not only that years of compfort. They sort of feel like they are made of gel yet they are durable as ever.
Thanks

Derek I haven't took time out to learn how to post link on the forum, but here is Item # on ebay you can take a look at.
It shows a pair of the very same grips i had on my chrome & yellow BMX dirt bike. I had a yellow seat to match with yellow speed rims/chrome spokes. My grips was yellow my hand brakes was chrome with yellow cables. Man, I'll never forget that bike it was the very best. The fastest in my neighborhood.
Anyway one of the main things that stuck with me was the grips. Cause i use to willy on one wheel for blocks at a time and I was able to hold the handle bars with the tips of my fingers cause the grips were so grippy and soft. I use to love my Oakley Grips. There the best. These are the originals, the exact same ones i had (classics). As you can see they are still here and look good at 30 years old.

P.S. Thanks for listening Bro. LOL!
