I always wondered if the encap crystal could really encapsulate all the dirt and oils that are mixed with it when using the cimex. Well today, I saw it with my own eyes.

I did a two step method recently with cimex and DS followed with a HWE rinse with plain water. Today, I was changing something on the recovery tank of my extractor and I noticed what appeared to be glitter everywhere in the tank. To my surprise, it was the left over encapsulated soils all nice and crystalized. They were all brown of course, but dry, brittle crystals non the less.

I always wanted to mix some soil with DS in a petri dish to see how it would dry, but real world results are so much better.

Not that I every doubted what DS could do, but then again, my name is doubting Thomas. Better to believe and not see doesn't apply in every case.

Well......at least I thought it was cool.

Of course with those little things you can do big things, such as with encap!
