Safest Pad for OP?

What would be the safest pad to use under an OP machine? Would it be the tuways? This would be primarily for residential settings with plush carpet.

I would imagine that Microfiber would be next on the list.

Microfiber would be the safest by far, you can use it on any pile.

copied from a topic below that i just posted.

Used the micros today again with hydro, hydro is working great...today was the only time i coughed from the product, before no coughing, maybe it has to do w/ the weather who knows.

Decided to play it safe and use the thin gliders on with micros on my challenger, did an entire room to test it out( NO glider this time), pretty wet micro, sprayed the room twice w/ my pump up, and still saw tip blooming. So next room changed it over to thin glider, not much fan of gliders don't think they do a good job cleaning, but i'm not a fan of tip blooming either.

I like micros, but i just can't see myself washing them in the clients bathroom, don't think that is very professional of me to do, and takes too much time. Anyone using a decent mop bucket wringer, or have any ideas what we can do with the micros. Doing it by hand just doesn't do as good of a job when they are wet n dirty.

Okay, so microfiber is safer than tuways, but still requires caution?

I thought tuways would be really safe because they are so slippery.

I read Bills' posts on another board about what the MF pads seemed to be doing.

I use tuways and glads. I offer only IMHO...tuways currently seem the safer.

Since I have a sprayer system built in the machine this may explain why I feel the way I do about using micro fiber pads.

They stay wet enough not to cause problems. Bringing enough pads to do the job with out wringing them out would solve the wringer problems.

don't have to use a bath tub

Use a mop bucket to rinse and ring out the micros.

I haven't tried micros YET. But I feel a wet glad pad with a thick glider is safer than tuways. Thats what I use on sensitive carpets, and never had any tip bloom EVER. When I get to the heavy soil in traffic lanes I may swich to a smaller glider, or remove the glider if it's already worn out.
