Question for Shorty

In your previous post you mentioned you have modified your cimex machine, including the wheels. Can you tell me if this was for better stair climbing ability? This was a concern of mine, the machine weighs in at 48kg and not every place has an elavator. Can you tell me what the modification was exactly.

Scroll through and you will find pics of my Big Yella complete with wheels.

There is also another post further down under th pics that describes the procedure.

In answer to your question, YES, I did put the larger wheels on to make stair climbing a breeze.

Another un-intentional bonus is the fact that Big Yella moves over the carpet easier on those larger pneumatic tyres.

OOOOps, pump-up tires

In very tight areas, it also manouveres EXCELLENT with the handle in the upright position

Swap them over, hang on lossely and enjoy the ride
