I just did a house with walnut husk on the carpet and I could only lighten it but couldn't remove it from the carpet. I am wondering If you had any info or suggestions on what to use. I used everything from pig, all solv, citus solv, protein spotter and avenge and no of them removed the spots just lighten them. I know you have a lot of knowledge. Just wanted to see what you recommend. thanks

Hey rick. Yes it is the from walnuts and They called it walnut husk but it stains your skin and it will stain concrete. I was wondering if you have ever come across this. By the way I hate cleaning with hwe like I did today. I love cleaning with my cimex low moister and no gas. Great agitation and dries fast. I sold my rx 20 and going to invest into an op machine. What do you recommend.

I am sorry. I honestly don't have a clue what to do with that.

You might try Encap-HydrOx. It does a great job on protein based stains (which this would be). I'm not sure if it will work, but it's worth a try.

Now explain to me how they got their carpet loaded up with Walnut Husks? I'm picturing 'em sitting around watching prime time - "hey don't hog the walnuts pass that bowl over here". It's a wacky world. LOL

The customer has a walnut tree in her back yard and every year the squirrels take them off the tree and eat them. The one they dont eat crack and get walnut junk or they call husk on everything. She stepped on it and her dog stepped in it. The tracked it into the house on their shoes and the dogs paws. I tried a protein spotter and it didn't work. Someone told me to try red remover. what do you think. Hey when are you going to make a animal urine product.

I would try Stain Magic for this.

Stain Magic is basically hydrogen peroxide and ammonia.
It may work on the stains.

You may also find, as I mentioned above, that Encap-HydrOx might work. The oxygenating properties of hydrogen peroxide works wonders on brown stains and protein based stains. It hasn't been tested on walnut husks, but I think it may be worth a shot.

Have you tried using a white towel to see if any color transfers to the towel? If you can get color to the towel, it may take time but you should get results.
