HELP - Can I clean this with my cimex encap?

I have a rug to clean, it's a 100% tufted wool rug, the tufting is about 1 inch high and it's cream in colour.

Having recently purchased a cimex machine for commercial cleaning using the encap system, I have since read they are good for rug cleaning, can anyone advise?

I understand getting all the dry dirt out is important, turn the rug upside down and vac the back, beat it, etc....
I was thinking maybe a dry run with the cimex with shampoo brushes would act as good agitation to loosen any remaining dry dirt, then repeat the vac procedure again.

I don't want to end up with a grey rug, so do you think a cimex encap clean or regular HWE would be better?

Any help before I tackle this job would be much appreciated.

The Cimex with soft brushes and Encap-Clean work superbly on wool rugs. Its pH is dead-on for wool and it cleans great! Just make sure the rug's not a bleeder (like you normally would).

We clean lots of wool rugs with the Cimex / Releasit Encap-Clean DS combo. We use it on rugs we wash and on rugs we don't wash. Make sure to test the rug first, but most of the time the Cimex / Releasit combo works wonders on rugs. We use a RugBadger to get the dry soil out. A vacuum cleaner with a beater bar or a pile lifter will work, they just take longer. I would not recommend running the Cimex over the rug dry to loosen soil. Just keep vacuuming on the back of the rug.
