I know that you should NOT use the fiber plus pads on saxony or delicate carpet so what pads should you use if you are using a op machine?.

Use the the Tuway pads. And of course use gliders, common sense, and a little extra caution if the carpet is delicate.

BTW I edited your post above. You had left out the word "NOT" in your question (big difference).

Hey rick, What do you use for the before the tuway pads? I know the faber pads are good for agitation and the tuway pads are good drying and picking up some soil. I don't mean to be stupid but what is a glider. I know what a glider is for a wand.

On residential, the Tuway's can do the ENTIRE job.
Keep it simple. The Tuway's are all you need.

Nice I have been using the fiber pads and then the tunway pads. This will make it so much faster. So do a pass with ds and then a dry pass? I know the fiber pads work great with berber carpet. thanks.

Glidin' along

When referring to cleaning with an oscillating machine or a rotary machine, a "Glide" is a small disc that goes between the bonnet and the carpet.

This usually made of some type of plastic material.

Although it does limit the area that the bonnet is covering, it also reduces drag between the carpet and the bonnet.

You put the glide on the carpet, place the bonnet over it, and away you go.

Thanks I have never seen on or used on. I have used one on my wand only. I have been using my cimex on res work and it work great. I am going to invest into a op machine for vct and res cleaning. My cimex is to big for res stairs. thanks
