Red, that's were you'll see the magic. If there was ever a magic bullet for berber, the cimex/releasit combo has got to be it.

Berber is a notorious for wicking so you might want to mix 1 table spoon of citric acid powder per gallon of RTU. It will help reduce the chance of wicking.

I have never had a problem with wicking on berber using cimex or ReleaseIt DS, the low moisture quick dry eliminate the problem. If you ever do experience a wicking problem mix 50/50 mix ReleaseIT DS and mist it on after agitating only with lightly damp pads from cleaning other areas. The key here is agitation followed by heavy mix of encapsulation chem lightly.

Rick had mentioned a while ago Hydrox should not be used with other ReleaseIt prodcuts, or did I misunderstand?

You are correct- Hydrox polymer is NOT compatible with other Releasit products

Ooops. I figured since it said it was a pre spray it could be used with other stuff. Why than is it a pre spray? What should I be using with it?

Hydrox

November 27 2008, 12:53 PM

Why not just put the Hydrox in your cimex tank? I don't have a cimex but use hydrox in my pump up and no other release-it chem, not needed. I have a stainmaster sprayer that i also do a 50/50 mix with the Hydrox, works pretty good.
