Odorcide for Pregnant Women

November 29 2008 at 4:05 PM
Mr. Amazing

A customer asked me today if breathing in odorcide was safe for her unborn baby. I didnt see any warning labels on the jug so I told her it was. Later I got to thinking and thought I would ask you guys. Any thoughts?

I'd tell here that per the label there is no warnings regarding pregnancy (if that is accurate), but you can provide her with a phone number to the manafacturer if she has any questions.

And of course if she feels that she has any issues to IMMEDIATELY go to fresh air.  From there she can call you and/or the manufacturer.

You could also provide her a copy of the MSDS sheet too.

Oh...

I thought you wanted to use Odorcide on pregnant women.

I believe that Odorcide should be safe, but if there's a concern it's best to contact the manufacturer. And as always - err on the side of caution. People can be overly sensitive and sometimes they can be quick to jump to wrong conclusions. Folks can get freaked out about anything, so it would seem like the course of wisdom to address her concerns, reassuring her that you always employ safe practices and that you will take added care to insure the health and safety of she and her family.

I'm with Rick on this one. I thought I had just found a great gift for my sister-in-law who is due any day now.

Why are you using it in her home? If she has concerns the best thing to do is not to use it. End of protential problem!!!!!
