Carpet repairs

Does anyone here do carpet repairs as part of their work day ??

In a former life, my trade was in carpet laying, floor sanding and vinyl tile laying.

Unfortunately, this came to a brief end when my knuckles met my ex bosses jaw. wink.gif

Here is a company that I found to offer excellent service for tools relating to carpet & flooring repairs.

As far as I am aware, they do not sell carpet cleaning products nor machinery for such.

That can be had here...............

Where the bloke and Nancy also give Excellent service wink.gif

Ooroo, it's Sunday & I gotta go and earn some lunch money 'cos the trouble 'n strife is on holiday in the 'pines.

I've seen the light, and changed my wicked ways. wink.gif

I do small repairs mainly for apartments. Would like to get a used carpet stretcher at a good deal.

If you only do small repairs, why not a Behr Claw ??

I really think a reg strecher would serve me better for larger areas, maybe I'll get the opportunity to buy one from someone who now owns a bear claw LOL

I took an IICRC repair n re-stretching course thought by Steve Andrews, he posts on Mikeys in the carpet repair section, great instructor full of knowledge. Got my "patch" but have not done actualy repair jobs, been spending all the funds on other things at the moment, so i've been subing the repair work to a local repair only guy. I just can't see myself living w/out a Kool Glide.
