Was just quoting on a new install Shaw Carpet Building manager was told by installation company that also cleans carpets that if they did not use the encap cleaning method that the warranty would be voided. My reply was yes Sir we do and have been encap cleaning for over 5 years. "HERE'S YOUR QUOTE"

Sure would be great to have you post that warranty so we could put it in our books

People say great things about encap, but it is never in print, and that is the problem!!!!! We need it in print and from the mills.

You hear so much, and never know what to actually believe.

Several months ago, I was at an IICRC sponsored class and was talking to the instructor during a break. He told me that the dude at Shaw, that runs their technical department, I forget his name, told him they had done extensive tests that indicated that encap cleaning did not vacuum out as advertised and that he was looking forward to the data being published.

I have never seen a thing about this, have you?

from what I heard the test was suposed to go way longer then it did, but with the results Shaw was getting there was no need.As Marty stated we have seen no writings on this yet, there could be many reasons for this,politics come into play you can bet
