Drove up to Port Douglas yesterday to have lunch with a ruggie from Brisbane, Steve & his charming wife Debbie of Brisbane Rug Wash.



Some may recognise a couple of these pics.



Double Island can also be seen in the pics. This is opposite Palm Cove, 25 klm north of Cairns.



The furthest hills to the south are on the other side of Trinity Inlet opposite Cairns proper.



First one is looking south to Cairns (about 45 klm) from the Rex lookout, Wanghetti Beach is in the foreground.

Most week-ends, there are para gliders that take over this hill top.

Stop it Shorty. That's not nice! I can't come back at least for a while, and here you are showing us photos of your paradise home.

It's like when Nancy talks to her folks up in Vermont, telling them that our temperatures are in the low 80's, while they're up there shoveling snow. They don't like like us when we tell 'em we're running around wearing shorts and a t-shirt.

Your home has gotta be one of the most beautiful places on the entire planet.

Man and I thought i was moving to paradise when I moved to Florida! Boy was I wrong, only if some had shown me those pictures 5 years ago. HAHA
