I just wanted to let everyone know that our next Stone Restoration Class has been scheduled for February 25, 26 & 27. Its outlined in more detail in the link below; but we will cover topics from lippage removal, filling a travertine floor, all the way through powder polishing as well as Face Polishing granite and more. Depending on the size of this class we may actually have a video shot of it. Take a look at the link and feel free email me if you need to at David@1800MARBLEGUY.COM

I've taken 3 classes in stone and this one was by far the best! It's all hands-on which is the only way to learn these skills properly. I would love to take it again but I think I would have to fight Pat for it.

Hi Rich

Ive got a question for you? Is it expensive to get in to carpet cleaning? It is if youre going to get all of the bells and whistles and a great big truck and all of the toys and maybe a lot of stuff you dont need in the beginning. At the same time you can do carpet reasonable too. Chances are you already have a lot of the equipment you might need. Do you own a swing machine? Do you own a wet vac? Do you own a mop bucket and wringer? Good, youre just about where I was when I started out doing stone. If you want to go all out you might spend as much as 12-15K for EVERYTHING can you get by with a lot less absolutely. Thats some of the things we cover in the class. Youd be surprised, there is a good chance you already have a lot of what youll need.

If any body has any questions please post them here, chances are some of the other members have had the same questions about stone and you can help get them answered for both of you.

Let me know if I can help.

David,

You know how it is with these boards. It seems like you never have enough to be the professional that you want to be. I guess knowledge comes with the basics.

To answer your question, no I don't have a swing machine anymore but I can get one. As far as equipment, what is needed? Maybe I should talk to you directly.

With all the BS on these boards I find you and your brother Rick most helpful and professional. Thanks guys.

Rich
