Re- Big wheel conversion - would these do the job ?

Hi guys



As you know I'm trying to find some wheels over here in the UK and have come across these on ebay in the UK, do you think they will do the job ?

Hard to tell Paul.

What is the axle diameter ??

Is the centre hub solid ??

If it is solid, and smaller, you can probably get an engineering shop to drill it out to the correct diameter for the Cimex.

If it is solid and larger than the Cimex, you may be able to get some shims to take up the extra slack.

They may not be an easy item to find, but once you have the correct size on Big Yella, you will really appreciate the effort.

Just looking at the photo I doubt they would.

NORMALLY steel wheels around here at least have ALL had smaller diameter hubs with bearings that CANNOT be removed making them inoperable for this operation.

Did you look at the Northern Tool UK wheels I put in the other thread?
