Don't mix DS OR PUNCH with Hydrox
It will comprmise the Polymer capabilities.

O.K., help me understand, If I pre-spot a carpet with Hydrox (exellent spotter) but plan to clean carpet with DS/CIMEX, must I extract the Hydrox with clean water first then encap with DS to avoid polymer compromise?

Or how about this scenario: I clean a carpet with Hydrox one week cause the carpet had multible browning areas (great browning remover) following month I want to clean with DS/CIMEX, will it be safe to do so without compromising polymers. Or Will the polymer (hydrox) reliquify and mix with the DS and compromise its polymers?

Thanks

Good questions:

1) Spotting a carpet with Encap-HydrOx followed by normal cleaning with Encap-Clean DS is not going to present a problem for you. When you spot a carpet (using any spotter), you would normally BLOT up the spotter with a towel. So most of the spotter will be recovered. The small amount of spotter that's left in the carpet (Encap-HydrOx or otherwise) will not present any issues for you when you perform typical encap cleaning. Just encap over the treated area like normal.

2) Regarding your second question. Subsequent cleaning with Encap-Clean, following a prior cleaning with Encap-HydrOx is not a problem. It's the LOW pH of Encap-HydrOx that will mess up the polymer in Encap-Clean DS. However after the carpet's dry, the pH from the prior cleaning isn't a significant factor that would impact subsequent cleanings.
