Pro-solve Gel

February 3 2009 at 6:58 PM
Alex

I have a job comming up that has pet contaminants in one room and make-up in another room. The rest of the house is pretty much a one pass op cleaning as it were. (Light beige carpet.) However I forgot to test for the kind of fiber it is.

Thinking back on the inspection the room with the make-up looked like wool. I had planned on useing my Pro-solve Gel to address the make-up. It is recommended that for even more exceptional results, follow up with the power-gel. That sounds like an option and not a requirement. (Rick's site)

If these fibers are wool, is this spotting agent safe to use on it?

Thanks

Hi Alex,

1.) I have used Pro-solve gel on wool rugs before without an issue, but do suggest that you test first!!

2.) Power-gel goes hand in hand with Pro-Solve gel, when the Pro-Solve Gel is applied and aggitated into the makeup spot, it will disolve it. The Power-Gel is then applied immediately to the spot and worked in, which will emulsify the makeup and Pro-Solve Gel into suspension, making it real easy to flush from the carpet fiber.

I hope this helps you out Alex! Todd, over at Pro's Choice is always at the phone desk taking calls on any stain challenge or product question of those they sell, he is extremely helpful, 1-800-368-1247.

Good Luck,

Aaron Baum
