Need help finding product that will safely remove paste wax and dirt from a mexican tile floor? Any suggestions would be appreciated.when the floor was installed 28 yrs. ago they put linseed oil first and then used paste wax. It has been rewaxed several times since. They want the paste wax re-applied.

Thanks

Wayne

Paste wax is meant for wood floor, so is linseed oil.
Are you sure this floor is not wood?

I have cleaned old wood floors like this, but not tile

Yes, it is mexican tile and according to the owner they did use linseed oil first and then bowling alley wax. Years ago we would have used mineral spirits to remove it but I was hoping new technology would help me. Thanks for your response.

Wayne sorry my brain what not functioning properly yesterday.

Linseed oil and a kero mix is used to seal saltillo tile floors, I have not seen one done that way,I imagine due to my geographic location, that being said I use. Nanoscrub from Aqua Mix, or
Stone Pro Formula 51 Stripper, other things that could work are Zip Strip.

Karen Church would also be a great source of information for you

Any decent floor stripper should be able to remove paste wax.
