Yes you are correct it is pricey that cart is way over priced
$50 for the entire set up sounds about rite.
I use window washing buckets now, never thought of finding a cart to put them in, I personally do not think I could find the room for it.

I do not like this set up at all. First of all, if you plan on wheeling this unit up and down stairs all day. I give it a week before the dolly breaks apart, just by looking at the picture.
I like the window washing bucket idea alot better. They even come with lids. You can double stack them and purchase a light duty hand truck that is MADE for stair climbing to transport your buckets.

looks better than what i use. but i like to keep the dirty pads "hidden" away from any1's eyes. therefore i use white, scented, 13 gall kitchen trash bags for dirty pads, and just a 5 gall bucket for the clean ones. |

why not keep pads visible Derek? That way you prevent having to answer the question: "where does the dirt go"? lol

hi Alex
i prefer to keep them hidden, in my mind, for the same reason that HWE recovery hoses aren't clear plastic - it can be an embarrassment to my client to see just how filthy their home is.
this way i save them some face.
that is my reasoning

The dolly is just a rack to hold them, I would not take it up stairs either. I fortunate that I can still handle moving buckets without the help of a dolly. The buckets also have lids so show or don't show up to you.

Looks good Jeff.
I always carry a clean white cotton pad w/ me in my bucket(s), that way it's always on top of the other dirty ones incase people do look in my buckets. Even though alot of times i show them how dirty their carpets are, makes 'em feel good i'm there to clean it up after them.
Just my way of thinking, nothing wrong w/ Derek's tho.

That's the microfiber mop set up.
Sometimes I find that if you can get exactly what you want, paying a little more will be worth it. If you had to put it all together yourself, it may be a little cheaper, but it may not work as well, and may not look as professional.
