| 1. So I was at a custi's house today. She had moved a plant and underneath was a yellow stain from where she had watered the plant and it soaked through. I tried encap spot, no go. Didnt even budge. I tried some rust remover, no go. Any thoughts?
2. A customer called and wanted to know if our product kills fleas. I do strictly low moisture, no hwe. Can I kill fleas with encap ds? I think I know the answer to this but I thought I'd ask anyway.

Hi, Mr. A,
I would try 20oz. of encap-Hydrox per gallon of water:
1. Wet out the stain
2. Let dwell 10 minutes
3. Scrubb with Cimex& Fiber plus Max
If that doesn't get it next I would try Pro-solve stain magic.
Thanks

Well not exactly poor litle fleas, but be very carful about how you word any service involving the death of known pests. If many states if you claim to kill things with chemicals you have to be a lisence for pest control. Its a catch 22 since such products are available to the carpet cleaner so just use your advertizing carefully. Microban X-580 will do what she wants and is safe for soft surface. Check with Rick G for product compatiability but you could always spray this product down first, let dwell and then encap. |

For the yellow stain;instead of stain magic which to me is too much of a "hit or miss" type product just mist on a Urine Stain Remover product (Proschoice has a good one as well as Harvard) and cover with plastic-your furniture tabs work well.
Put a furniture block on top of the plastic to identify the area as well as keep the plastic where you want it.Tell your client to leave the plastic there for 24 hours and that it could take 2 or 24 hours to work.I think once in years have I had to come back for a second application.
Tell your client to call an exterminator.By the way,I believe the microban product mentions on the label, about thoroughly (hwe) cleaning before applying. It does work though.
