Federal Gov't CC Jobs

Anyone here bid on Federal Government carpet cleaning jobs? I just took a 2 hr class on doing business with the federal gov't...It seems pretty complex to go thru all the paperwork, but some of these jobs are pretty substantial....100k + sqft in some cases!

Just wondering if anyone can give me some insight on how doing biz with the feds works for them...pros / cons, etc.

Make sure you are a minority owned business, this will give you a way better chance and you can bid higher then on that is not because they have to give preference to minority owned businesses.

Woman Owned qualifies if all the proper paper work is filed

Be prepared to wait for your money unless they make sure they pay you will a govenment CC

I considered putting my wife as the president or CEO to achieve the woman-owned status, i heard that actually helps...

PS they told us that the feds pay in 30 days across the board, or else they have to pay interest on it over 30 days...
