NEVER, EVER, GIVE UP.
Taking advice from the CMC, back in February, I approached a jewelers store about cleaning their carpets.
They were hesitant but asked me to send in a price.
I kept onto them every couple of weeks.
They had multiple excuses such as, the manager is away on holidays, we have to get permission from head office, it's not a good time of the year, it's the wet season, it's school holidays, it's Easter, and so on.
Each time I would say about the appearance when you walk past their door and how the carpet looks to customers and other people walking past, first impressions, etc;
A couple of weeks back, I contacted them again and they said that their area manager had been in town and was disgusted with the carpet and they had to get two quotes to have it cleaned.
I did the job last night in thirty five minutes for $132.00.
The manager and the six staff were having a staff meeting and were blown away with the results.
Today they rang me and asked if I could do it every three months for them.
