When pre and post vacuuming when OP cleaning, what seems to be the best vacuum cleaner to use in terms of both convenience and effectiveness?

Linhaus-380rx no doubt about it. For post vaccuming I would use Sprint for grooming. Rick sales both of these fantastic machines. I have them both and love them both.

By the way Rick I need screws for my Sprint handle where it mounts to the machine. Vibrated loose and lost it.

Down in Australia some are more keen on the Dyson Vacuum range than others - won't tell you who!
Three big uprights for work; smaller upright for home, and the handheld for encap tidy-ups when cleaning wool.

They vacuum exceptionally well. Also the total cost of ownership etc: no bags or filters to buy - ever!

Don't know if they are available in the states or Australia but in the UK I would say almost all carpet cleaners swear by the sebo BS36, they are fantastic units, built in Germany, great performance and practically bullet proof.
