Cimex - Tile and Grout cleaning

Jason

I was wondering if anyone could please give some advice about using the Cimex (19") for Tile and Grout cleaning?

What type of brushes/pads do you use? Are the results good? How is the waste/dirty water extracted once cleaned?

Thank you

Use the firm brushes to scrub withhttp://www.excellent-supply.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=37&idcategory=6 and I use either my T&G porty to extract or my TM with a turbo hybrid. But if it's not to bad you might get away with using a Wet Vac and Squegge. However sooner or later if you do a lot your going ot need the pressure to get the grout lines clean.
Usually on residential jobs you can get away with scrubing and sucking it up with the shop vac but the T&G porty with the turbo will do a much better job.

I also would add weight to a cimex for tile and grout. I use to bungy 2 twenty pound dumbells to the deck. Worked much better on tile and grout.
