Tool for MARKETING to new clients

June 24 2009 at 6:36 PM

Rick Gelinas

Sometimes the question comes up during the sales/interview process with a new client and they ask about what "system" you'll be using. So we went ahead and put together a nice 8 page brochure with an overview of the Releasit Maintenance System...

http://www.Releasit.com/Releasit_Maintenance_System.pdf

This is a large 9MB PDF file, so I would suggest e-mailing the link to your client, and they can simply download it at their desk.

I hope this will be helpful for you when you're going after the juicy commercial accounts!

Hi Rick,
This link sounds great! With no dis-respect, would it be possible for you to change the link so it does not say Cimex or Releasit so the consumer would not just go out and buy one from you? I want the work! I need the work! Someone will look at this and hire someone for $10.00hr to do the work. Help us all out Rick!

PS I do not want to upset you.

The CMS program is fairly "generic". That's what you'd use for most marketing needs.

THe reason this document contains the names of the system is because it's intended for answering the client that is specifically asking what you're using.

The way to get them to justify hiring you is to emphasize all that your company brings to the table. Your service, your scheduling to fit their needs, your professionalism, your guarantee, etc. The quality and professionalism is what should help to differentiate your company.

If they only want a cheapo service, they probably wouldn't have made a very good customer anyway. Most business owners can be helped to see the value of hiring a professional to improve the quality of their environment. And the CMS program goes a long way toward that end.

Dude I do everything on the Mac happy.gif

We're now up to 10 Macs, between our office and our home. Our staff loves 'em too. I was asking Beth just the other day how she felt about using her PC when she gets home after working on a Mac all day. She said she doesn't even like to check her e-mail. Macs will really spoil a person!

We do still have to run Windows too, for a few business applications, such as UPS shipping, and our accounting software. We run Fusion for that. It will be great when the Mac finally catches up by adding more hard core business apps! I think that will eventually happen. But for normal everyday computing, our Macs are serving us better than we ever experienced back (in the dark ages) when we were running Windows PC's! We're now "frustration free" when it comes to computers happy.gif happy.gif happy.gif

On a side note I picked up an iPod Touch a couple of months ago. It's awesome. I liked it so much that I gave it to Nancy, and then I finally made the switch from a Blackberry (which I've always loved) to the new iPhone 3GS this past Friday. It's super. So I guess I'm officially an Apple guy through and through happy.gif

looks great Rick.

I have had my MAC for about a year now, So glad i purchased it
WE also use VMware due to Service Monster and a few apps I need Windows for.

I will be purchasing another one for home soon so I can work on some things from home.

I love how Pages and Printfolio work. Rapid Weaver is a great web design tool, but I still do not minding my home PC for surfing and stuff, I just do not want to do any marketing stuff on one
