CRB Question

July 12 2009 at 11:45 PM

Joe DeSouza

My good friend and mentor in the CC biz gave me a whittaker GLS machine this weekend (thanks, Bill!!)...now that I have a cimex, and a CRB, what can I expect out of the crb, as in, where would it be more beneficial to use the crb over the cimex in a commercial environment?

Two thoughts come to mind; 1) might it be easier to use in tight spaces?, and 2) if there is a warrantee issue about using a cimex, I assume the CRB would be ok to use (even though I personally KNOW the cimex will not damage the carpet)

BTW, I assume running DS thru the electric sprayer on the gLS would be ok, right?

Thanks!

Joe

I personally have never used my crb for commercial. The Cimex and Orbot do so well in these areas.

I find the crb to be effective on residential/ cut pile carpet with at least some height to the pile. Makes everything look nice and groomed as well.

I also use my crb on some wool rugs.

Your idea about the warranty issue would probably be true. However the results may not be as good as a cimex/op. It may take a bit longer to get good results as well due to brushes having less surface contact than pads.

I agree with Thomas.

The machine can be a great tool to scrub in prespray for your HWE as well!
