If you empty the system completely, it gets a little air in the system and it take a little while to get it all out. Solution, don't completely empty it before refilling tank.

Just push and hold the spray button until it begins to spray. It will spit a little, then your'e good to go.

I have tryed to hold the spray button for a minute or so and still no spray. I have not tried to fill the spray bottle while still on the machine. I have usualy just changed out the bottle and that is when it fails to restart the spray. I wiil try to refill the sprayer bottle before i run out of spray and not remove it from the machine. I'am not sure how to do this without removing the spray line running into the bottle.

Sometimes the spray jets get clogged. Depending on the type of cleaning agent you use. If you use a concentrated dilution of DS the you may get the crystalizing process not fully crystalized yet in your spray tips. So you might want to change to larger spray tips. I experienced a build up in my cimex plumming. And pulled out encap Hydrox with a coat hanger. Thats the other thing. I found that leaving a solution in the lines without flushing with clean water cuases me to spend more time cleaning and flushing out plumming.

Why not try one of these between the tank and pump to prime the system

This is what I do when changing bottles out.
put new bottle next to the machine.

take old bottle with the line still in it out, then put line in new bottle, then put in Orbot, or take line out of bottle still in Orbot put in new bottle on the floor, take old bottle out new bottle goes in.

I have noticed with age the pump does not prime as easy as before, I just started having to to the faucet trick over the past month.

Had the same problem what I did was:
The line between the pump & spray jets. at the jet connection just push in & pull out the line connection place a cup under the line & turn on the slution pump it will prim V/quickly, turn off pump replace the line (just push in) to the connection & off you go.
