Normal charge for cleaning Leer Jet

Micah Argenio

I finally did the Jet I had posted about. Encaped wool carpet in jet($20 million). Also did 4 mats 2-2'x4' 2-1'x2'
carpet in jet about 200 square ft (40 feet long 2'-9' wide). It was TRASHED and came out very nice. Owner contacted me wants bid to do it every 3 months. Last time waited 2 years.
Any help on fair price would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Micah

Don't undersell your services.

I would work on $150.00 per hour from the time you get to the gate, 'til the time you leave.

If it is a long drive to the aircraft, add that time &/or mileage also.

Also have a bare minimum for your call out.

Prestige toys carry a prestigious price tag for services, don't be mistaken for a cheap hack.

Hope all goes well.

Just ask them how good they are. wink.gif

I don't bother with it anymore.

Ignorance is bliss so why bother trying to educate some numbskulls.

I still do HWE, but I also know when and where it should be used (I hope). happy.gif

In a twenty million dollar aircraft is not the place, especially on a wool carpet that is going to retain moisture in an enclosed environment.

Over four years ago, Rick said to me in Vegas, "Forget everything you know about hot water extraction and look at this as an entirely different way of cleaning carpet".

It has not failed me since, unless a carpet was so full of you know what that it needed a good flush.

Ooroo,
