Stain Remover

September 17 2009, 4:47 PM

Here are some answers from another board that were successful.

1. I had a job where in a previously flooded part of their basement they had what were clearly furniture stains. I tried everything, with no effect, then on a whim tried Rust Remover [T-Rust] and to my surprise it came up? Can anyone explain why other than the fact that it was really rust. I checked the furniture and there were no metal parts. Thanks!

2. We discovered that also.

When we see furniture stains that will not come out using normal spotting agents, many times the low ph in rust remover will take it out.

Pretty cool discovery!

3. rust remover contains acid oxalic that is a reducer

maybe in this case the stain is "reduced" to a transparent stain
